ZA Total Hydration Pore Care Essence Review

Hello sweeties!!
Here's another review post,
which is on ZA Total Hydration Range!
I said i loveeeee hydrating right? :P

The packaging is PINK!!

" Resolves dryness and stickiness. For resilient skin with less visible pores. Full of the moisture and ingredients that skin needs. Results in smooth skin that glows from within "

Benefits:
- Foggy Powder: keeps skin feeling silky-light and minimize appearance of conspicuous pores.
- Glyclglycine: normalizes paraketatosis and plumps the skin around each pore to minimize appearance of dilated pores.
- Prism Enhancer: exfoliate excess dead skin cells and moisturizes skin
- Vitamin B Derivatives: revitalizes skin
- Amino Mineral Complex: strengthen skin

Refreshing gel for intensive pore care.
Directions: After toner or lotion, use fingertips to gently smooth an appropriate amount over areas where the pores are of concern.

Pea-sized amount is actually enough, this tube of essence can last quite long.

Very spreadable and the essence is rather watery.

It absorbs relatively well too & it's refreshing.

I bought this on impulse as it was only retailing for $9.90 at Watson.
Since it states pore care + essence, so i thought why not? It's CHEAP & CUTE!
I've been diligently using it for a month, but i didn't observe any shrinkage in my pores,
so i kind of gave up using it. But in my opinion, it's okay to use it as essence.

Pros
- Moisturizing & Hydrating
- Not Oily
- Cute packaging
- I like the fragrance, it's refreshing!
- Cheap & Easily available

Cons
- Did not shrink pores

Overall Rating: I would rate this a 3/5, i'm quite disappointed that my pores did not shrink :( But it's good to use it as an essence, but i don't think I will repurchase.

Skinfood Rice Mask Wash Off Review

It's been a few days since I updated! :/
Today I'm gonna review on Skinfood Rice Mask!
It's a highly raved product, that's why i decided to try it out.

Skin Food Rice Mask
The Box: Rice not only gives plenty of moistures but also brighten your skin.
This gentle rice mask, feeling as real rice lifts off any excess dirt & oil leaving skin smooth & clear.

Ingredient List & Direction
After Cleansing, gently massage over dry face. Avoid eye area. Rinse Off
(It didn't exactly says how long to put on, so i left it on for 10 minutes)

Texture of Product: Creamy with tiny micro-beads to remove dead skin.

So after spreading, i left it on for 10 minutes or so..

After 10 minutes, notice how the mask turns a little more transparent than before..

I don't know if you guys can see, but the part where i place the mask is smoother & slightly brighter than before. I massage my face with the micro-beads before rinsing off.

Fragrance: It didn't exactly smells like "rice", but i don't know what to describe the smell as. But the scent of this product actually stays on my face for sometime, i didn't exactly like it though..

Pros:
- Leave my skin smooth after applying
- Slightly brighten my face
- Removes dead skin

Cons:
- The fragrance, i didn't like the fact that it stays on my skin
- Product in tub form, it's messy when applying
- I notice my skin turns more oily after applying
- The direction is a little brief

Overall Rating: I would rate it a 3.5/5. It's an average product, not a must-have. It does what it states, but other than that it's pretty average I would say. Don't think I will repurchase again.

My current skincare routine, Hada Labo! (:

My current skincare routine! Hada Labo SHA range! (:
I prefer my skincare to be more hydrating & moisturizing rather than having whitening effect.
Due to my oily/combination skin, it's hard for me to find a perfect range.

Then, i heard everyone raving about Hada Labo's hydrating lotion.
I tried it & i'm in love with it.
Thus, i bought their essence & moisturizer too!

This photo was taken 6 months ago where i bought their essence, moisturizer & refill for the hydrating lotion.

Hada Labo lotion is a Japanese skin care product that's insanely popular due to its amazing hydrating and anti-aging properties. It's said that one bottle of Hada Labo lotion sells every 4 seconds in Japan!

Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid range contains SHA which promises that "one drop locks up an ocean". SHA helps to replenish and lock in moisture to visibly improve skin texture and prevent dryness so skin stays soft, hydrated and elastic. It's free of fragrances, mineral oil, alcohol and colorants. It is also skin pH balanced and causes low skin irritation.

Tadah! My 3 steps routine~
Left: Hada Labo SHA Hydrating Lotion
Middle: Hada Labo SHA Moist Essence EX
Right: Hada Labo SHA Cream

Step 1: Hada Labo SHA lotion (acts as toner)

" This toner contains SHA and HA for re-hydrating softening and refreshing results. With advanced Nano technology the intensive hydrating ingredients contained in this toner is able to penetrate into the skin for non-greasy yet effective moisturizing result. It can also prevent the evaporation of skin's natural moisture so that your skin can be well hydrated. "

The lotion is runny, almost like water. It's very spreadable so u don't have to use much on your face & it's very easily absorbed by the skin. I would rate it a 5/5, it's so hydrating that you can just feel it!

Step 2: Hada Labo SHA Moist Essence EX

" This intensive hydrating essence is designed for all skin types. It is able to tighten and refine large pores caused by aging and a change of environment. Your skin will look firmer, younger and well hydrated. Blends with intensive SHA and HA for re-hydrating and softening results. With advanced nano technology, the intensive hydrating ingredients contained in this product is able to penetrate into the skin for a non-greasy result. "

Basically, the essence is much more thicker than the lotion. So you have to spend more effort in patting your skin to let it fully absorbed before carrying on to the next step. Once absorbed, it's not sticky or greasy! I will rate this a 4/5, as it is not so easy to be absorbed by the skin.

Step 3: Hada Labo SHA Cream

" Highly moisturizing facial cream with super Hyaluronic Acid. Moisturized skin for a long time. Non-greasy formula. Weak acidic. For sensitive skin. Fragrance free, Colorant free, mineral oil free, and Alcohol (ethanol) free. "

To be honest, I don't like their cream. From the photos, you may feel that the cream is gel-like but actually it's cream-like. So it's not suitable for oily skin. Specially after all the layering, this cream left me with a greasy & sticky skin. It's hard to be absorbed too. So, it doesn't do what it claims. I would rate this a 2.5/5, this product would be good for people with dry skin.

A random picture "Runaway Rilakkumma" and me after my 3 steps routine :P
Boing~ Boing~!

To prove that i'm a fan of Hada Labo, my second bottle of hydrating lotion! :DD
I've just finished my essence, i'm currently looking for new range to try out! Any recommendations? (:

My absolute favorite sunblock!

Introducing my absolute favorite sunblock!
I will be reviewing on Biore UV Perfect Face Milk SPF 50+ PA+++,
as well as Biore Aqua Rich Watery Jelly Water Base SPF 30 PA+++.

So, why use sunblock?
Sunblock can keep us protected from many natural element that can do damage to our skin.
- It prevents sunburn
- Premature Aging
- Decrease the risk of skin cancer

editing & adding in sparkles :P

First up, Biore UV Perfect Face Milk SPF 50+
This is my favourite sunblock (the one in white), i'm currently using my 3rd bottle.
As i have oily/combination skin, my face will be oily within 2 to 3 hours without applying anything.
But after applying this sunblock, i swear my skin doesn't get oily.
It mattifies my skin & the oil control can last up to half a day!

Biore actually sells 4 different kinds of face milk,
from what i know, the pink one has shimmers in it, so it'll make ur skin glow!
& the white one has better oil control ability.

The product just fully absorbed into my skin.
what's more, it can be used as a makeup base!
Though the retail size is small (30mL) but i don't usually apply alot to my face, cause it's VERY spreadable!
I used a peanut skin amount for my whole face.
So it last me for about 6 months, i apply it every morning.

Pros:
- Excellent oil control
- Can use as makeup base
- Waterproof with SPF 50+
- There's this shaker thing inside, u shake & mix the sunblock before using.
- Cheap & Affordable (retail @ watson for $15.50)
- Slightly whiten your skin :D

Cons:
I'm not trying to exaggerate, but i can't find a problem with this product!!

Overall Rating: 5/5!!

Next up, Biore Aqua Rich Watery Jelly water base SPF 30.
I bought this for $18+ at watson, i was attracted by it because of it hydrating power!
Yesyes, i love anything that hydrates my skin! :P

See how hydrating it is?!
It just turns into water when u blend into ur skin.
My skin did glow after applying.
However, I don't think this product is suitable for me.
It gets oily 2 to 3 hours later & it is not waterproof i believe :(
So this product is more suitable for girls with dry skin,
but i won't waste this product! I will apply it on my body hehe~

Pros:
- Very hydrating
- Big tube, can use for a period of time
- SPF 30, which i think it's not bad.

Cons:
- No oil control at all
- Not waterproof
- Gets sticky if u overapply

Overall Rating: 3.5/5
