Gmarket Mini Haul :P

I've changed my blog song to shinee's the reason!

They recently comeback after a year & 6 months,

I missed them so much! :(

Anyway, i bought some stuff from Gmarket again! :x

I needed a new serum since i finished my Hada labo essence, seller gave free mask & sample!

Cellio Lipsticks from Korea, selling at 3 for $9.90. Crazily cheap!! The feedback from other buyer was quite good. I have to get them!! :P I'll post the swatches soon ^^

Timbre @ Old School

Me & my primary school friends finally met up!

We have known each other for about 9 years,

been so busy that we rarely met up.

We went Timbre @ Old School,

my friend's sister recommended us to go there haha! :P

the place really have this 'old school' look, probably used to be an old school here.

Before reaching there, we have to climb LONG flights of stairs! I almost died climbing up! LOL i was google-ing the stairs from timbreoldschool, someone actually snap a pic of it. (pic credit to owner)

We went there early, the place was empty! Initially thought there will be alot of people. Ordered 2 cocktails to share! I forgot their names :P Mine is on the right called apple martini.

Roasted Duck Pizza (one of their popular pizza) Thin crust, very crunchy & they sprinkle alot of crackers on top. the sauce is really good, but the pizza is not filling at all :(

Ordered some finger food and pasta, forgot to take picture of the pasta :P

Overall the food is pretty decent but slightly overpriced. Not filling at all LOL! and they don't have air-cons, so it's pretty warm there. My friend was bitten by mosquitoes xD I don't recommend to have dinner there but it's a good place to chill if you love band performance!

HK Kim Gary Restaurant (香港金加利茶餐) @ Vivocity

I had lunch today with my friend at HK Kim Gary restaurant in Vivocity.

They have set lunch that ranges from $6.90 onwards, it's quite a deal!

Thick & yummy ice milk tea! ♥

Borsch soup served in a mug!

Mine! Hokkaido Fish Fillet Curry Rice, the egg has shredded crab stick wrapped inside! The fish was tasty! But i think the sauce is too little.

My friend ordered ramen with lots of side dishes in it! Egg, corn, beansprout, sausages, chicken wing & fried wanton!

Current mood: Happy! ♥

ELF makeup swatches + review

Hello ladies!! (:

I was clearing my makeup a few days ago & i came across the ELF makeups which i've been using since i first started makeup. But somehow i stopped using them & it's already been more than 3 years. They're most probably expired, but i wanted to do some swatches before i throw them away. (I know, i'm wasting money! T.T) HUGE post ahead!!!

EYESHADOWS

ELF Brightening Eye Color Quad in Silver Lining

Purplish eyeshadow quad, good for soft smokey look. The colors are matte and slightly chalky, not very pigmented, need a few swatches to get the colors out (especially white).

ELF Brightening Eye Color Quad in Pretty n' Pink

Pretty colors! Good for creating soft, romantic look. This quad is less chalky & more shimmery as compared to Silver Lining.

ELF Brightening Eye Color Quad in Drama

Eyeshadow quad for creating smokey look! The black & whites are matte, silver & charcoal are more shimmery. They are chalky & not very pigmented, need a few swatches.

Pros

- ELF has wide range of colors, good for people who like to experiment with colors.

- Cheap, quality considered good for the price paid.

Cons

- Not really pigmented

- Chalky

- Sponge applicator turns yellow

ELF Duo Eyeshadow Cream in Mocha Swirl

Their eyeshadow creams are quite good! Pigmented and easy to apply! The colors are pretty too!

Pros

- ELF has wide range of colors, good for people who like to experiment with colors.

- Cheap, quality considered good for the price paid.

- Pigmented & easy to apply

Cons

- Oily

- The colors has big contrast

ELF Essential Brightening Eye Liner in Black

The color doesn't come off easily, it smudges & fades off. I don't like it :(

LIPS

ELF Essential Hypershine Lip gloss in Joy

Has cotton candy scent & is sweet (LOL i tasted it :P) Glossy with abit of sheer color.

Pros

- Pretty & nice colors

- Cheap, quality considered good for the price paid.

- Nice scent

Cons

- Sticky

FACE

ELF Essential Natural Radiance Blusher in Shy

I like the color, like the name of the blusher (shy) the color is soft & natural looking.

ELF Essential Shimmering Facial Whip in Pink Lemonade (3rd from picture)

Honestly, i have no idea how to use this because they are wayyy too shimmery & unnatural! I don't wanna look like a disco ball when i go out.. kekeke!

ZA Total Hydration Pore Care Essence Review

Hello sweeties!!

I said i loveeeee hydrating right? :P

The packaging is PINK!! ♥

Benefits:

- Foggy Powder: keeps skin feeling silky-light and minimize appearance of conspicuous pores.

- Glyclglycine: normalizes paraketatosis and plumps the skin around each pore to minimize appearance of dilated pores.

- Prism Enhancer: exfoliate excess dead skin cells and moisturizes skin

- Vitamin B Derivatives: revitalizes skin

- Amino Mineral Complex: strengthen skin

Refreshing gel for intensive pore care.

Directions: After toner or lotion, use fingertips to gently smooth an appropriate amount over areas where the pores are of concern.

Pea-sized amount is actually enough, this tube of essence can last quite long.

Very spreadable and the essence is rather watery.

It absorbs relatively well too & it's refreshing.

I bought this on impulse as it was only retailing for $9.90 at Watson.

Since it states pore care + essence, so i thought why not? It's CHEAP & CUTE!

I've been diligently using it for a month, but i didn't observe any shrinkage in my pores,

so i kind of gave up using it. But in my opinion, it's okay to use it as essence.

Pros

- Moisturizing & Hydrating

- Not Oily

- Cute packaging

- I like the fragrance, it's refreshing!

- Cheap & Easily available

Cons

- Did not shrink pores

Overall Rating: I would rate this a 3/5, i'm quite disappointed that my pores did not shrink :( But it's good to use it as an essence, but i don't think I will repurchase.

Korea Mini Haul

My friend went over to Korea last week,

so i asked her to get me some stuff..

Here are the stuff i've got! plus some food & gifts :P

I bought Proof 10 Eyeprimer, Nymph Aura Volume & White Jewel Smart Peeling.

The cosmetics in Korea are mad cheap! I got these 3 items for $21 SGD!

The Smart Peeling alone already retail here for $25!

So if u're travelling to Korea, buy their beauty products!! :D

Skinfood Rice Mask Wash Off Review

It's been a few days since I updated! :/

Today I'm gonna review on Skinfood Rice Mask!

It's a highly raved product, that's why i decided to try it out.

Skin Food Rice Mask

The Box: Rice not only gives plenty of moistures but also brighten your skin.

This gentle rice mask, feeling as real rice lifts off any excess dirt & oil leaving skin smooth & clear.

Ingredient List & Direction

After Cleansing, gently massage over dry face. Avoid eye area. Rinse Off

(It didn't exactly says how long to put on, so i left it on for 10 minutes)

Texture of Product: Creamy with tiny micro-beads to remove dead skin.

So after spreading, i left it on for 10 minutes or so..

After 10 minutes, notice how the mask turns a little more transparent than before..

I don't know if you guys can see, but the part where i place the mask is smoother & slightly brighter than before. I massage my face with the micro-beads before rinsing off.

Fragrance: It didn't exactly smells like "rice", but i don't know what to describe the smell as. But the scent of this product actually stays on my face for sometime, i didn't exactly like it though..

Pros:

- Leave my skin smooth after applying

- Slightly brighten my face

- Removes dead skin

Cons:

- The fragrance, i didn't like the fact that it stays on my skin

- Product in tub form, it's messy when applying

- I notice my skin turns more oily after applying

- The direction is a little brief

Overall Rating: I would rate it a 3.5/5. It's an average product, not a must-have. It does what it states, but other than that it's pretty average I would say. Don't think I will repurchase again.

Etude House Peach Water Gloss #3 Plum Water Review

A yummy peach lipgloss from Etude House! (:

I was amazed by the peachy scent & cute packaging!

Available in 5 shades, i'm using #3 Plum Water

" -Moisturizing gloss that supplies color and volume to lips with a moist, smooth sensation.

-Jelly Polymer's smooth texture supplies moisture and color coating to lips without hassle.

-Supplies glossy, wet look to lips with specially formulated hydro coating.

-Heart-shaped applicator adds glossy volume to lips. "

Though it looks similar to hotpink, but it's sheer when applied.

As you can see, the gloss is really sheer. It's more towards nude/babypink when applied.

What i like about this gloss is that it's non-sticky & the yummy peachy scent just travel to your mouth.

Pros:

- Yummy Peachy Scent

- Cute Packaging

- Easy to apply with the heart- shaped applicator

- Pretty Color

- Non-sticky & Moisturizing

Cons:

- Not very long-lasting & color disappears after eating.

- Sheer, need 2 coats or more.

Overall Rating:I would rate this a 4/5. Though it's not very long-lasting, but i think the scent & color make up for it. It's good for girls who likes their lip colors to be nude/soft pink.
